About

My artwork is always evolving and it reflects a flow of ideas and changing perspectives. I love to draw and to combine my drawings with paint and collage. Acrylics work well for this approach because they are fast-drying and I can go back in and draw, paint, and paste on top of them.

I studied Fine Arts at Kent Sate University and also earned a degree in Forestry from the University of Idaho. My love of the outdoors and exploring new places are what interested me in studying Natural Resources. I find that the structure and discipline of math and science help to create balance with my artistic side. Forestry work keeps me in touch with the natural landscape and I draw on my time in the woods and mountains for my artwork.
